In normal circumstances, there would be a single game remaining of the 2019/20 season, and who knows what the would mean for Posh. Would there be a play-off campaign to pursue, or potentially promotion already sealed?

Darren Ferguson’s men were on a solid run of form, losing one of their last nine League One matches, and hopefully that momentum continues when the season resumes.

But while we’d love Peterborough’s stats over the remaining nine games to read ‘WWWWWWWWW’, here’s some interesting statistics from the League One campaign so far…

  • Posh possess the longest winning streak in League One (6 games)
  • Posh have won 86% of games they’ve been winning at half-time
  • Posh have failed to win a game they’ve been losing at half-time, salvaging a draw on just one occasion
  • Posh sit third, behind Wycombe Wanderers and Ipswich Town respectively, for the most consecutive clean sheets (4 games without conceding)
  • Posh haven’t lost any of their last six league games at home
  • Only Rotherham have won more aerial duels in League One this season than Posh, who have won 53.9%
